Mushrooms are grown 7 days a week, 365 days a year using strictly controlled production systems within environment-controlled facilities to ensure the highest quality and consistent supply is maintained throughout the year. The products are delivered to a UK storage and distribution facility based in Kent and delivered to customers on a daily basis across the UK.
Quality and consistent supply
Sourced from mushroom farms where safe, socially and environmentally responsible farming practices are followed
All farms are GLOBAL GAP accredited and have full quality control from the manufacture of the substrate produced to the management of the growing environments. This includes the growing, picking and selection, packing and onward delivery to the storage and distribution centre in Kent and to customers across the UK.

Growing Harvesting and Packing

Mushroom Growing
Grown to perfection
Creating the substrate to provide the required nutrients, moisture and energy and controlling the growing environment is essential for mushroom quality and yield. The substrate is then mixed with mushroom spawn.

Quality Control
Quality asssured
Microscopic spores form within a mushroom cap that forms from thin, thread-like cells called mycelium that join together to cover the bed. Peat is added to the top of the bed and this is where the mycelium fuse and form a pin and these grow into buttons that largen into mushrooms.

Picking and Packing
Packed to specification
Once picked and packed into trays or punnets, all product is refrigerated to maintain freshness and quality. Agronomists, quality control managers and mushroom pickers work together to ensure product exceeds customer specification and quality standards.
